Background and Purpose: Psychological empowerment, a novel concept, has currently attracted the attention of many management scholars. The aim of the present study was to present a model of psychological empowerment among sports coaches in District 3.
Method: This research employed a descriptive correlational study design. A total of 301 participants were selected using purposive sampling method. They completed the Psychological Empowerment Scale for Employees (Spreitzer & Mishra, 1998) and the Organizational Effectiveness Questionnaire (Zaki et al., 2006). Data were analyzed using regression analysis in SPSS software.
Findings: The results indicated a significant positive relationship between psychological empowerment and organizational effectiveness subscales, including organizational innovation, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and organizational health.
Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that psychological empowerment in sports coaches in District 3 can contribute to their organizational effectiveness. These findings demonstrate that developing psychological empowerment in the workplace can lead to significant improvements in individuals' performance and organizational effectiveness. These results not only confirm the importance of psychological empowerment but also suggest that presenting a comprehensive model of psychological empowerment can serve as an effective strategy for enhancing organizational performance and effectiveness in District 3.
