Background and Puspose: Despite the extensive literature on physical activity and mental health, uncertainties remain regarding the role of short, consistent training periods in inducing neuropsychological and social changes. Through a comprehensive meta‑analysis, this paper seeks to reveal the fundamental link between bodily movement, cognitive functioning, and social mechanisms, offering a multidimensional perspective on physical activity. This study aimed to systematically examine the impact of short-duration daily physical exercise on three key dimensions of human health, cognitive flexibility, physical performance, and the quality of social relationships.
Method: The research employed a quantitative–descriptive meta‑analytic design. Data were extracted from reputable studies published in international scientific databases. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, standardized effect sizes were calculated and analyzed using a random‑effects model. Tests for heterogeneity, publication bias, and inter‑rater reliability were used to ensure validity. Specialized statistical software was applied to compute the overall effect size and to examine demographic moderators such as age and gender.
Findings: The meta‑analysis indicated that short daily physical exercise has a significant positive effect on improving cognitive flexibility, enhancing physical performance, and promoting the quality of social interactions. The overall effect size for cognitive outcomes was moderate‑to‑high, while physical and social dimensions showed moderate levels. Notable differences emerged between age groups, and group‑based exercise programs exerted positive effects on interpersonal bonding.
Conclusion: Short-duration daily exercise may serve as a natural and cost‑effective intervention within mental health frameworks. Such activities produce both physiological and cognitive stimulation, strengthen positive emotions, foster social interactions, and improve psychological resilience. Consequently, brief but consistent daily workouts can be considered an effective tool for maintaining harmony among body, mind, and human relationships in the modern world.
